		<description>Interesting choices.  It&#039;s nice to see Malick on the list.  Based on some of your other posts, he seemed like the type of director you might find pretentious, but you boiled him down nicely in one little blurb.  The only one I would wholeheartedly disagree with is the inclusion of John Carpenter.  Halloween and The Thing were his only decent films in my mind.  I like seeing Verhoeven receiving some credit.  Did you see his Black Book (Zwartboek)?  It was a very strong entry and vastly underrated.</description>
